Program
Tbilisi-Kakheti region –Kazbegi-Mtskheta-Gori
Day 1.
Arrival Tbilisi International Airport. Meeting with the guide, Transfer to the hotel, early check in at the Hotel, City Tour in Tbilisi
Dinner at the traditional restaurant.

Day 2.
Tbilisi sightseeing tour
Breakfast. Tbilisi sightseeing tour – the Old and New Towns. The city offers a great variety of sights, most of them very ancient. All the places of interest in the Old Town are very close to each other, within a few minutes’ walk. We start our visit to Old Tbilisi from Metekhi Church, then walk up to the brick-domed Sulphur Baths. From the Baths we head up the hill to visit Narikala Fortress – one of the oldest fortifications in the city. Afterwards we continue to the Synagogue, Sioni Cathedral and Anchiskhati Church. This marks the end of the Old Town. After lunch we visit the stunning treasury of the Georgian National Museums, before taking a stroll along Rustaveli Avenue – the main street in Tbilisi.

Day 3.
Tbilisi - Kakheti
08:00 Breakfast in the hotel. 09:00 Drive to Kakheti region which is the main wine region of Georgia. Drive to Gareji monastery complex. The monastery was founded in 6th century by the one of the Assyrian father – David Garejeli. Monastery was enlarged in 9th -11th century and now there are lots of monasteries in this desert. Gareji monastery complex was not only spiritual centre but also cultural and literary centre. Launch or picnic at 13:00 .Then we will drive to Sighnaghi, beautiful city from 18th century, which is called the city of love. Visit museum, after it we will have a walk in the city.
19:00 Dinner.
Overnight in Sighnaghi, in the hotel.
Day 4.
Wine trip in Kakheti, Tbilisi
Breakfast. Visit town of Sighnaghi( 18 th century) preserved with its original image. You also visit Bodbe monastery (4th c.), that holds the tomb of St. Nino, who converted Georgian people to Christianity as early as 337 AD. As you travel in wine- growing region we can’t live this place without tasting real Georgian wine and learn more about Georgian way of wine-making. We travel to the famous wine-growing region of Kakheti. We visit a farmer’s house, enjoy the hospitality of the local people and sample delicious home-made food and wine. Afterwards we continue to the wine factory to taste more Kakhetian wines. Then we visit Gremi Architectural Complex (16 th c.). On the way we will visit the beautiful Tsinandali garden. In the evening we return to Tbilisi.
20:00 Dinner.

Day 5
Tbilisi -Gudauri – Kazbegi
Breakfast. You will see the beauty of the virgin nature of the highest mountain chain in the Europe. Pass famous Georgian Military Highway, visit Ananuri architectural complex (17th c, features one of the best carvings of the Christian art) and arrive in kazbegi village. You will see Gergeti trinity church (14th c.)located at 2170m in front of one of the highest and most beautiful mountain of the Caucasus range Mt.kazbegi (5047m).
Dinner. Overnight in Kazbegi.
Day 6
Tbilisi – Mtskheta – Gori
Breakfast. We drive to the town of Gori and visit the Stalin Museum and Uplistsikhe Cave Town – one of the main points along the Silk Road.Return to Tbilisi. Dinner in the restaurant. Afterwards we continue to the ancient capital and
religious centre of Georgia – Mtskheta and visit its historical places: Jvari Monastery and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, where the Robe of Christ is buried. Both Jvari and Svetitskhoveli are UNESCO World Heritage sites. Return to Tbilisi .
Dinner and Overnight in the hotel.
Day 7
Departure, Transfer to the airport.
